Mahmoud Ahmadinejad killed in missile attack in Tehran

The statement said that Ahmadinejad was killed along with a number of his companions during the strike, without providing detailed official explanations about the circumstances of the incident so far. Media outlets close to the Revolutionary Guard also reported that three of his guards were killed during the attack, which was said to have been carried out by the United States and Israel.
Mashreg News Agency reported that the dead were Mehdi Mokhtari, Mostafa Azizi, and Hassan Masjedi, who were killed in a strike targeting the former president's office east of Tehran. Previous reports had mentioned a missile strike in the Narmak area, with videos circulating on social media showing damage in the vicinity of the site.Ahmadinejad is one of the country's prominent political figures, having served as president between 2005 and 2013. His term was marked by widespread controversy both domestically and internationally, before his positions later diverged from those of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the years following the end of his second term.
