Today's Foreign Exchange Rates Against the Dirham

Bank Al-Maghrib announced the exchange rates of major foreign currencies against the Moroccan dirham today, Thursday, March 12, 2026, as part of its daily updates on the foreign exchange market.
According to data released by the central bank, the buying rate for the euro stood at 10.2027 dirhams, while the selling rate reached 11.8571 dirhams. As for the U.S. dollar, it was quoted at 8.8358 dirhams for buying and 10.2686 dirhams for selling.
As for other currencies, the buying rate for the Canadian dollar stood at 6.5016 dirhams against 7.556 dirhams for the selling rate, while the British pound was quoted at 11.821 dirhams for buying and 13.737 dirhams for selling—the same rate applied to the Gibraltar pound.
The buying rate for the Swiss franc was set at 11.297 dirhams against 13.129 dirhams for selling, while the buying rate for the Saudi riyal was 2.3547 dirhams and the selling rate was 2.7365 dirhams.
As for Gulf currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar was quoted at 28.786 dirhams for buying and 33.454 dirhams for selling, while the buying rate for the UAE dirham was 2.4056 dirhams versus 2.7956 dirhams for selling, and the Qatari riyal was quoted at 2.4233 dirhams for buying and 2.8163 dirhams for selling. The Bahraini dinar’s buying rate reached 23.4 dirhams, compared to 27.194 dirhams for selling.
As for Asian currencies, the buying rate for 100 units of the Japanese yen was 5.5603 dirhams, while the selling rate reached 6.4619 dirhams. The Omani riyal was quoted at 22.95 dirhams for buying and 26.672 dirhams for selling.
