As part of the measures taken to integrate the next cohort of conscripts into military service, effective September 1, 2026, in accordance with the high instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him and grant him victory, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the Minister of the Interior hereby informs young men who will be at least 19 years old and no older than 25 years old on September 1, 2026, that the registration process for military service began on March 2, 2026, and will end on April 30, 2026. A statement from the Minister of the Interior noted that the Central Committee in charge of the military service census, chaired by a Chamber President of the Court of Cassation, on February 18, established the criteria for compiling the list of individuals summoned to complete the census form for military service, for the next cohort of conscripts, while taking into account the principle of equality among citizens and ensuring balance across the Kingdom’s regions. On this occasion, the Minister of the Interior calls on young people who will receive their census notification from local administrative authorities, whether in person or through a family member, to fill out the census form via the website (www.tajnid.ma), starting March 2, 2026. The Minister of the Interior also informs young men and women who meet the aforementioned age requirement, who have not been summoned to fill out the census form, and who wish to perform military service, that they may fill out the form via the same website (www.tajnid.ma), throughout the period designated for the census, namely from Monday, March 2, 2026, through April 30, 2026. The law also extends this option to young members of the Moroccan diaspora abroad who are registered with consular authorities and wish to perform military service.
