Oil Prices Rise Amid Fears of Supply Shortages in the Middle EastOil prices rose on Tuesday for the third consecutive day, as concerns grew over supply shortages resulting from geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. By 07:45 GMT, Brent crude futures stood at $80.89 per barrel, up about 4.1% from their previous level, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose to $73.78 per barrel, an increase of 3.6%.
This performance reflects the continuing uncertainty in energy markets, with investors expecting further price volatility in the coming days. Oil remains one of the commodities most affected by tensions in the Middle East, given its vital role in global supplies and the market’s sensitivity to any potential disruptions
